The Texas A&M University-Texarkana biology program offers several tracks for students interested the biological sciences, preprofessional programs (pre-medical, pre-dental, and other areas), as well as teaching certifications in biology and composite science at the secondary and middle school levels.  A minor in chemistry is also offered.  In addition we have a graduate education program with a focus in science education.
