Welcome to the new College of Arts & Sciences and Education Web site!  I hope that you will enjoy learning more about our college by perusing this user-friendly informational site. 

The College of Arts & Sciences is the largest college in the University and includes both arts and sciences and education programs.  Currently, we offer nine undergraduate and nine graduate degrees and are awaiting final approval for a bachelor of science degree in political science.  In addition, we offer several degree minors and a large variety of teacher certification programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and post graduate levels.  Our TExES (teacher certification test) pass rate hovers around 99 percent each year.

The mission of the College of Arts & Sciences and Education is to prepare lifelong learners who embrace diversity, think critically, communicate clearly, and lead effectively in a global society.  

To support our mission, the college faculty has carefully chosen ten goals to pursue during the next year, all of which will improve the quality of service and education that we will be providing to our students College Goals.
