Admission Requirements
| Master of Science in Instructional Technology (MSIT) |
1) A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
2) 3.00 minimum GPA in the last 60 hours of undergraduate courses
3) GRE score
4) TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based ) or a score of 213 (computer-based) for for International candidates whose native language is not English
5) 3 letters of recommendation
6) A letter of interest and commitment

| Master Technology Teacher (MTT) Certification |
Applicants must meet the following criteria for admission into the MTT program:
1) A bachelor's degree with a grade point average of 2.5 on the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate degree if seeking MTT certification alone;
OR
A bachelor's degree with a grade point average of 3.0 or above on the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate if seeking a combined certification and degree;
2) A teaching certification with Technology Applications or Technology Education Certification
OR
A teaching certification with at least three years teaching experience;
3) A completed "Prerequisite Knowledge and Skill Questionnaire," and a portfolio of sample works demonstrating skills in technology applications for teaching (see Applications to download Questionnaire);
4) Two letters of recommendation from school district administrators, which may include district level technology director, school principal, or superintendent.
5) Upon admission and as a condition for retention in the program, candidate must complete all course work in their program plan with a grade of B or above.

| Technology Applications 8-12 Certification |
Candidate for this program must be pursuing a post-baccalaureate certification program or a graduate degree program in teaching. A formal admission application is not required. However, candidate must complete a program plan at the Office of Teacher Certification. |

| Master Technology Teacher (MTT) EC-12 Certification |
Submit a formal application to the Office of Teacher Certification and provide the following evidence of qualification as follow:
Download and complete the application form and Prerequisite Knowledge and Skills Questionnaire. You need Acrobat Reader on your computer to download the forms. Completed application packet and copies of certificates and official transcripts should be sent to:

Tuition and Fee
Texas A&M University - Texarkana has the lowest tuition rates in the state of Texas. Costs include tuition, student service fee, computer access fee, and some of these fees as applicable: international education fee, student endowment scholarship fee, and transcript fee. The following are estimated figures for summer. Parking fees are not included.
