Dean's Message
Welcome to the Texas A&M-Texarkana College of Business website. We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about us! Our website contains information that we hope is helpful to all of our visitors, whether they be a current student, potential student, or third party interested in the quality of education we offer (parent, advisor, employer). We are confident that you will find our programs to be sufficiently broad, our faculty to offer depth of expertise that includes a high level of practicality, and our course delivery modes to meet your lifestyle.
Our students are very diverse. They range from traditional age college students to students pursuing a second or third career. All of our students have one goal in common – to obtain a degree in a business discipline from a quality university that will contribute to their future success. To better serve our diverse student body and the requirements of their situation, we offer many degrees (undergraduate and graduate) via multiple formats (web courses, face to face courses, and a combination of web and face to face) and at different times (day and evening). We believe our graduates are better prepared to meet the future challenges facing them because of the experiences offered due to this variety.
Our faculty are here to help you learn and thus to position yourself for future success. Our faculty to student ratio means that you have an advantage over the mega-size sections of large universities. You will be taught by Ph.D. instructors or by working professionals. You will be able to sit down with them in their offices to forge a relationship that will be beneficial to you – now and in the future. Take advantage of this!
