  • 6 SCH Graduate business electives

  • *Mgt 527 is a capstone course requiring the application and integration of principles from various business disciplines including accounting, finance, marketing, management and economics in the solution of managerial problems and the development and implementation of corporate strategies in a changing environment. Must be taken during the last semester of enrollment. Students must receive a grade of "B" or better.  Prerequisites: All MBA background courses and consent of instructor.  

  • Option  Students may obtain an M.B.A. degree by completing 30 graduate SCH and writing a six semester hour thesis on a topic approved by the advisory committee or by pursuing a 36 semester hour program with no thesis. In either program 27 graduate semester hours in business administration and the graduate core course are required.

  • You must complete a total of 36 SCH for a Master of Science in Business Administration. This degree is designed to allow you a maximum of flexibility and enable you to take those courses which will best suit your educational objectives. 

  • *Mgt 527 is a capstone course requiring the application and integration of principles from various business disciplines including accounting, finance, marketing, management and economics in the solution of managerial problems and the development and implementation of corporate strategies in a changing environment. Must be taken during the last semester of enrollment. Prerequisite for MS students:  Acct 526, Econ 576, Mgt 594 and Mkt 526 and consent of the instructor.  

  • You may also earn an MS in Business Administration by completing 30 semester hours and a 6 hour thesis. Consult with the Division Head regarding this option.
