DROPPING/WITHDRAWING FROM CLASSES
Students can drop through Web For Students. You will need your Student ID and PIN to access this system.To drop a class BEFORE the first day of class, use the options available in the Action pull-down list through Web for Students. You CANNOT DROP a class through the Web for Students once classes begin. You CANNOT WITHDRAW from all classes through Web for Students. Drop or withdraw deadlines can be found in the Schedule Information of the Schedule of Classes. Please refer to the Semester Calendar each semester for these dates.
You will need to follow the directions below to drop or withdraw.
1. Print and complete the Drop/Withdrawal Request form located at the bottom of this page.
2. Submit the form to the professor of each course you wish to drop/withdraw from and obtain
their signature where indicated on the form. The date of last attendance/participation must
also be noted on the form where indicated.
3. Submit the completed form to the Registrar’s office via mail, fax or email. Your request to
drop/withdraw will be processed effective the date the request is submitted to the Registrar’s office.
**NOTE: Incomplete forms WILL NOT be accepted or processed
by the Registrar’s office. It is responsibility of the
student to ensure ALL required information is
provided on the form.
Steps 1-3 can be submitted by email to Registrar@tamut.edu, by fax to (903) 223-3140, or by filling out a drop/withdrawal slip in the Registrar’s Office.
PLEASE NOTE: It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all steps are completed by Last Day to Drop or Withdraw for the term or session as printed in the Semester Calendar. To view the Semester Calendar, please go to our website, www.tamut.edu. Click on the “Current Schedule” link, choose “Schedule Information”, choose the semester, then choose the “Semester Calendar” link.
PLEASE NOTE:
Dropping=Dropping a class but staying enrolled in other courses at A&M-Texarkana.
Withdrawing=Dropping all classes you are enrolled in at A&M-Texarkana.
