Statement of Rationale for Judgment of Compliance

Texas A&M University-Texarkana currently has over 1500 students enrolled in 24 undergraduate degree programs and 17 graduate programs. It has been in continuous operation for over 33 years as an upper-level institution, has begun expanding the degree programs to provide educational opportunities for the citizens of Northeast Texas. The university is in the process of moving to a new campus to expand downward to include freshmen and sophomores.  The move is expected in 2008.  Evidence for student enrollment and operation is provided in the A&M-Texarkana General Catalog, the Texas A&M University System web site, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s web site, and the College for Texans’ web site.  Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s web site offers evidence of the programs offered at A&M-Texarkana
