Statement of Rationale for Judgment of Compliance

Texas A&M University-Texarkana currently has over 1500 students enrolled in 24 undergraduate degree programs and 17 graduate programs. It has been in continuous operation for over 33 years as an upper-level institution, has begun expanding the degree programs to provide educational opportunities for the citizens of Northeast Texas. The university is in the process of moving to a new campus to expand downward to include freshmen and sophomores. The move is expected in 2008.
