President's Message
I want to take a moment to both thank you and congratulate you on selecting Texas A&M University-Texarkana to pursue your college degree!
A&M-Texarkana has been making history. In four short years, we have opened two brand new buildings, the Science & Technology Building and University Center, on our new Main Campus located at Bringle Lake. Fall 2010, we opened our doors to our first freshman class and doctoral students. As we continue to move forward, we are eagerly anticipating the opening of the first residence hall, Bringle Lake Village in August. This new facility will offer close to 300 beds in a state-of-the-art facility which will include tennis courts, a swimming pool and many amenities rivaling a first-class resort! Work is underway to have a soccer field ready soon. A new amphitheater is almost finished, and we are also looking forward to breaking ground on a new recreational facility in the near future.
Serving the residents of Northeast Texas and adjoining states, our faculty and staff at A&M-Texarkana stand ready to assist you in obtaining a quality education to make you successful in whatever your chosen profession may be.
