Political Science Program

The Political Science Program at A&M-Texarkana offers a Bachelor’s degree and a minor. The Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science provides an accessible and broad education for students preparing for careers in applied politics and law, public administration, teaching, or research. The program includes the fields of American (U.S.) Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Theory, Public Administration, and Public Law. The political science faculty and curriculum represent a cross-section of the various substantive and methodological orientations within the discipline. The university library currently has extensive holdings in all fields of Political Science. The Department is a member of the American Political Science Association.
