Texas A&M University-Texarkana recognizes that the work place of the future will require higher-level skills performed from an international perspective, A&M-Texarkana prepares students for a knowledge-based, technology-oriented, global economy and society.  Therefore, opportunities may exist for students to travel outside of the United States. 

A&M-Texarkana must adhere to the travel regulations of The Texas A&M University System and  the State of Texas.  The international travel coordinator (ITC) for each international travel event must follow campus approval procedures.  The timeline must be followed by the ITC in order for the program to be considered for international travel funding.
