Adding Additional Certifications

• Certification by Examination – An educator who holds a bachelor’s degree and an appropriate Texas classroom teaching certificate may add additional classroom certification areas by successfully completing the appropriate content examination for the area(s) sought. You will need to create an online account or log on to your existing account and go to your Educator Profile at www.sbec.state.tx.us to receive your unique TEA Test ID number, which will be used to register for an exam at www.texes.ets.org.
