Computer & Information Sciences (CIS) program
The Computer & Information Sciences program offers course of study leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer & Information Sciences (BSCIS). It prepares students to excel in an increasingly complex technical world. CIS majors study computers both in theory and in practice, covering topics in software, hardware, networks, databases, and more; Computer and information systems managers plan, coordinate, and direct research and design the computer-related activities of firms.
Computer science is the study of computers and other information processing systems: their theory, design, development, and application. Computer scientists design and analyze algorithms to solve problems and develop and study the performance of computer hardware and software. Computer scientists work in creative and rewarding jobs that encompass design, environmental planning, management, manufacturing, system engineering, law, medicine, and teaching.
Electrical Engineering (EE) program
The Electrical Engineering program offers course of study leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Our program is very flexible and allows students to select many classes based on their interests . The class sizes are small which makes it easier for students to interact with their instructors.
There are few disciplines that have had such a profound impact on every aspect of modern-day living as Electrical Engineering . It includes a very diverse range of areas e.g. medical devices, personal computers, high-speed communication, multimedia entertainment, and aerospace. It has played a dominant role in the growth of information technology through the invention of the integrated circuit (IC) chips. Many high tech industries employ skilled electrical engineers with high salaries.
