GUIDELINES
The steps listed below pertain specifically to course syllabi. However, they may be used for other items as well.
Circulate syllabus to Departmental Faculty. Place syllabus on agenda for Departmental meeting for vote from members. If vote is favorable, continue to 3. If vote is not favorable, discuss with Department for possible revision and resubmission.
Complete paperwork using correct form (Course Inventory
Add/Reinstate Form)and request your Dean to sign off. See

for the Course Inventory Add/Reinstate form.
Faculty member submits completed Course Inventory Add/Reinstate Form and syllabus to Chairperson of Curriculum Committee ten days prior to scheduled Curriculum Committee meeting. He/she will place syllabus on agenda for next meeting for a vote by the Committee. Please attend the meeting or at least be available if the Committee has any questions. Your syllabus may be tabled if the Committee is unable to receive answers to questions.
However, if not approved or if tabled, Chairperson will return the syllabus to the faculty member for possible revision.
