1.         Agenda

2.         Meeting called to order at 1:32 PM by Dr. Racheotes. 

3.         Dr. Gandy moved, seconded by Dr. Beason to approve minutes from previous meeting October 8, 2008.  Motion passed

4.         Dr. Beason moved, seconded by Dr. Kincaid to approve Course Inventory Add/Reinstate: PSY 401 Psychological Statistics (Sikorski).  Motion was made to add PSY 401 to the course inventory.  Motion passed

5.         Dr. Beason moved, seconded by Dr. Kincaid to approve Course Syllabus Changes: HSCI 347 Foundations of Health Care Ethics (Garick).  Motion was made to request the change of course delivery system to include Web-Based.  The following recommendations were made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  2) Minor formatting changes need to be made.  Motion passed pending changes.

6.         Dr. Brumm moved, seconded by Dr. Beason to approve Course Inventory Add/Reinstate:  EE 335 Electronics (Green).  Motion was made to add EE 335 to the course inventory.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

7.         Old Business:  Tabled Items from October 8, 2008:

Dr. Kincaid moved, seconded by Dr. Beason to approve Course Inventory Add/Reinstate:  BSC 403 Environmental Physiology (McCallum).  Motion was made to add BSC 403 to the course inventory.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

            Dr. Beason moved, seconded by Dr. Brumm to approve Course Syllabus Changes: SPED 475 Resident Teaching in Special Education II (Edwards).  Motion was made to change the course title to Elementary Special Education Teaching Practicum and update the catalog description to reflect the new course title.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

            Dr. Beason moved, seconded by Dr. Gandy to approve Course Inventory Add/Reinstate:  SPED 480 EC-12 Special Education Teaching Practicum (Edwards). 

Motion was made to add SPED 480 to the course inventory.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

Dr. Kincaid moved, seconded by Dr. Beason to approve Course Syllabus Changes:

ED 491 Resident Teaching EC-4 (Edwards).  Motion was made to change the course title to Elementary Teaching Practicum and update the catalog description to reflect the new course title.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

Dr. Kincaid moved, seconded by Dr. Beason to approve Course Syllabus Changes:

ED 492 Resident Teaching Grades 4-8 (Edwards).  Motion was made to change the course title to Grades 4-8 Teaching Practicum and update the catalog description to reflect the new course title.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

            Dr. Kincaid moved, seconded by Dr. Beason to approve Course Syllabus Changes:

ED 493 Resident Teaching Grades 8-12 (Edwards).  Motion was made to change the course title to Grades 8-12 Teaching Practicum and update the catalog description to reflect the new course title.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

            Dr. Kincaid moved, seconded by Dr. Beason to approve Course Syllabus Changes:

ED 494 Resident Teaching II EC-4 (Edwards).  Motion was made to change the course title to Elementary Teaching Practicum II and update the catalog description to reflect the new course title.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

            Dr. Kincaid moved, seconded by Dr. Gandy to approve Course Syllabus Changes:

CIS 497 Special Topics:  Survey of Developing Technologies (Green).  Motion was made to change the course title to Survey of Developing Technologies.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

Dr. Beason moved, seconded by Dr. Kincaid to approve Course Inventory Add/Reinstate: EE 325 Signals and Systems I (Green).  Motion was made to add

EE 325 to the course inventory.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.

Dr. Beason moved, seconded by Dr. Gandy to approve Course Inventory Add/Reinstate: EE 326 Signals and Systems I Lab (Green).  Motion was made to add EE 326 to the course inventory.  The following recommendation was made:  1) Change the wording of the Academic Dishonesty statement to conform to the statement posted on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee website.  Motion passed as amended.
