The Goal of the Endow the Future Campaign is to raise $7,000,000 to fund the faculty and the dean for the College of Engineering and Information Sciences. (It takes $1,000,000 to endow each position.)
Leading the way to endowing the future...
Mr. Ross Perot - pledged to fund the annual salary for Dr. Doug Green, the dean of Academic Program Planning and Development to create the College of Engineering and Information Sciences, for as long as the program is meeting its goals.

How Funds will be Invested for Endowments:
 Funds raised
by the Endow the Future Campaign will be invested by The Texas
A&M University System on behalf of Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
The A&M System currently manages $1.5 billion in total assets
for support of its members. Endowed assets are invested as a part
of the System Endowment Fund, a fund of $500 million with an annualized
return of 11.6% for the five years ending December 31, 2001.
