Peter Racheotes called the meeting to order at 2:30 pm.
The following agenda items were discussed:

1. Representation on Administrative council

2. Ad hoc committies
         Distance Education: Davis, McDonald, Mohundro, and Nutter will serve on this ad hoc committee. Guidelines for hiring of adjunct faculty: Brown, Harbin (chair), and Mazer will serve on this ad hoc committee.

3. Nepotism
         The TAMU nepotism policy was discussed. Dr. Racheotes will review the policy of TAMU-T to determine if it is superseded by system policy.

4. University Organizational Chart
         The faculty was concerned about the omission of Departments and the Faculty Senate from the chart.

5. New Business
         Reports were given by the various search committee chairs. Further discussion concerning the Faculty Senate Constitution. Discussion of the evaluation system and merit pay.
