Peter Racheotes called the meeting to order at 12:00 pm.
The following agenda items were discussed:

1. Dr. Racheotes announced the recipients of the Research Enhancement Grants.
          Dr. Tom Wagy
          Dr. Chris McAlister and Dr. Allard
          Dr. Barry Nutter

2. Dr. Racheotes reported on a meeting with Dr. Johnson.
          A question was raised about the experienced teacher that the university receives.
         No monies will come directly to the faculty but will be used for maintenance and operations.

3. The senate was informed that the Administrative Academic Council will have no faculty representative.

4. Faculty Evaluation
          Dr. Racheotes indicated that Dr. Johnson has no problem with a faculty member being responsible for only one area.
          Motion: Hastings, 2nd Winn: Each faculty member will submit their own evaluaton to the dean along with the dean's evaluation. Also, it would be permissible to use only one area for the evaluation. Passed
