Peter Racheotes called the meeting to order at 10:00 am.
The following agenda items were discussed:

1. Election of new officers to the faculty senate.
          Dr. Racheotes: Behavioral Sciences
          Dr. Hastings: Education
          Dr. Gandy: Arts and Sciences
          Dr. Harbin: Business

2. Motion, Martin, 2nd Stripling:
          The faculty senate requests that faculty representation be included on the Academic council.
          Passed

3. A concern was expressed about the slow turn around on faculty evaluations by students. Also the numerical evaluation is too slow in getting back to faculty members. It was also noted that all criterion reference data is lumped together which may distort the data.
