President's Welcome to Graduate Studies at TAMU-Texarkana

I want to take this opportunity to commend you for continuing your education as a part of the graduate studies program at Texas A&M University-Texarkana. We are committed to maintaining a quality graduate program that meets the needs of our students. Many students before you have traveled down the same road and have been successful in achieving their goals.

Our world is changing at a very rapid pace. In order to stay focused on the future, we at A&M-Texarkana will develop new programs as needed to equip you with the tools to make success a reality. We will accomplish this goal by listening to the needs of the community, region and you, the student. To further build on this expectation, we will encourage a climate which promotes scholarship and research.

As funding needs become more and more competitive, it is crucial that we seek external funding opportunities to support and enhance our activities. We will identify those partners who share our vision, and want to become a part of our program. We have a dedicated staff and faculty who are available at your convenience to assist you with your education needs. I wish you much success with your continued studies at A&M-Texarkana.
