All NURSING STUDENTS may apply for these Scholarships.  The scholarships will be
 awarded with (only 2 students being selected for each scholarship).

·         MSN Scholarship

Requirements for Scholarships

·         Complete an Admissions Application and Application to RN-BSN program if first semester (for new BSN students only).

·         Official transcripts from all college previously attended must be on file in Admissions by scholarship deadline

·         Must not be in default on any Title IV funds

·         Satisfy the TSI, is applicable

·         Complete the Scholarship Application by posted deadline

Deadline dates are listed so students should check the web site at least once a month for updates.  If you have any questions, contact the Secretary to the Dean at 903-223-3176.

All scholarships are available once a year, students will be responsible for re-applying each year.  Students will be notified by letter.

Evaluation points for Nursing Scholarships

  • 60 points for Essay (including grammar, sentence structure, spelling - flowing of thoughts, cohesiveness
  • 40 points for:
    • Completed Admissions Application on file
    • Official transcripts from all colleges previously attended on file in the Admissions office by the scholarship deadline (including courses taken elsewhere while attending A&M-Texarkana
    • Must not be in default on any Title IV funds
    • Satisfy the TSI, if applicable
    • Completion of the Scholarship Application by the posted deadline
