Student Book Sale

The Student Book Sale is held during the first day of the fall and spring registrations.

PROCEDURES

Seller:

  1. The seller is responsible to reference the textbook listing for course, edition and author verification prior to leaving books for sale.
  2. The seller fills out a receipt form.  The information required is:  Name, address, home and work telephone numbers, and a list of the books for sale with the requested price.  The student is responsible for pricing.
  3. The seller keeps the yellow copy of the receipt.  This receipt must be presented in order to pick up money or unsold books.
  4. The seller is responsible to pick up money or unsold books by deadline. *

Buyer:

  1. The buyer is responsible to reference the textbook listing for course, edition and author verification prior to purchase.   If there is a book or edition discrepancy, contact the instructor.
  2. If paying by check, the check must be made out to the seller whose name is on the form.

Pick up money or unsold books:

  1. Current student ID and yellow receipt is required to receive money or unsold books.
  2. Seller must initial and date log, upon receipt of money or unsold books.
  3. * The University will not store unsold books.  Seller will forfeit these books if not picked up by the month following the deadline.


NOTE:   Student Services is not responsible for books purchased in error. It is the responsibility of the seller and the buyer to come to an agreement on all matters related to the sale or purchase of these books.
