What steps do I follow to take an Internet course?   

  1. Complete enrollment to Texas A&M University-Texarkana by applying and registering.
  2. Attend orientation meeting on campus.
  3. Login to your course.
Are there orientation opportunities?  How do these courses work? (assignments, interaction, exams) 
    Each course has its own passworded website.  Students login to their course to find out about assignments, lectures, homework, or group activities.  Interaction is carried on via email, chat, and forums.  Chat rooms are set up for every course to use.  Students can interact with peers or the instructor in real-time.  Chat times are determined by the instructor.  Forums are web-based bulletin boards that allow instructors and students to post messages.  Exams are given via interactive web forms, on-campus, or through proctored exams at testing centers.

When do courses start and end?    

    Spring courses begin January 19 and end May 9.  Online courses maintain the same schedule as on-campus courses.
