Online Learning is the process of learning material while you are connected to the internet. Instead of holding traditional lecture based courses, the instructor prepares the material for viewing online. The material and format of the course vary depending on the instructor. Your progress is monitored by the instructor who usually provides feedback and evaluations once a week or as assignments are completed.
Online Learning is not for every student. You should be a self-motivated, non-procrastinating student. It is very easy to put things off till the last week in an on-line course.
In addition to the material you will use online, there are several other sources available to you. Books and periodicals are important as well as web based resources.
