The Texas A&M University-Texarkana
biology program offers several tracks for students
interested the biological sciences, preprofessional programs (pre-medical,
pre-dental, and other areas), as well as teaching certification in biology
and composite science at the secondary and elementary levels. A minor in
chemistry is also offered. In addition we have a graduate program in
science
education. The Secondary (8-12) and Middle School (4-8) Science
Teaching Certification programs are also offered at Northeast
Texas Community College.
