Students in the Biology Program at Texas A&M University-Texarkana have the opportunity to become involved in research projects.  While this is not required for biology students, it is strongly encouraged. The students listed below are involved in a variety of research projects. Students can receive academic credit (BSC 464 Independent Research) for participating in research projects.  If you have an interest in doing research, contact Dr. McCallum or Dr. Allard.  The faculty member can help you design your own project or suggest projects.  Students go on to present their work at scientific meetings.
