David Allard's Home Page
Hi, I am glad that you are visiting my home page. I teach biology and science education at Texas A&M University-Texarkana. I am interested in all facets of science education at all levels. I am also the advisor for those in the pre-professional program in the health sciences (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, etc.). The courses I teach include: General Ecology, Invertebrate Zoology, Evolutionary Biology, Limnology, and graduate Science Education courses. I also do workshops for a number of programs such as Project WILD, Project WET, Bottle Biology, and others. I am Project Director for the East Texas Regional Collaborative for Excellence in Science Teaching. The Texas Regional Collaboratives for Excellence in Science Teaching is a part of the Eisenhower Exemplary and Demonstration Science Professional Development Program at the Science Education Center at The University of Texas at Austin.
