TEAS

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS), developed by Assessment Technologies, Inc. (ATI), is an assessment which is standardized, timed, multiple choice, computer-based, and comprised of the following:

TEAS testing at Texas A&M University-Texarkana Testing Center is available to both A&M-Texarkana program applicants and students applying to programs at other institutions. TEAS is the required Nursing Admissions entrance exam.  Click Nursing Program for an overview of degree programs offered at A&M-Texarkana.   

Due to the COVID-19, we are temporarily testing remotely for ATI TEAS using Protorio until further notice.  Please follow the below instructions and links to complete.  You MUST check with the institution in which you are applying to confirm their admissions requirements, and their acceptance of the remote version of the ATI TEAS exam.

Registration

Click Register to sign-up for TEAS assessments.  You MUST create an account on the ATI TEAS website to register for the TEAS assessment.  Visit ATI TEAS (Proctorio) to complete the registration process. 


Fee

  • $91.00 - the TEAS assessment payment must be made Online through the TEAS Portal.   You MUST have a TEAS account.

What To Bring

  • Candidates MUST present a valid Photo ID
  • Know your ATI username and password
  • Bring 2 or more #2 pencils
  • Blank scratch paper (checked by Proctorio)

Retest

You must wait 2 weeks before you can retake the TEAS Assessment. 

Score Transcript/Result

Transcripts/Results can be sent to additional institutions by clicking TEAS Transcript.
