2020-2021 Admission Standards

A student is considered a freshman if they:

  • graduated high school or earned a General Equivalency Diploma (GED),
  • will graduate high school or earn a GED, or
  • has earned less than 30 hours of college credit after high-school graduation or receipt of a GED

 

Regular Admissions

A freshman applicant must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for admission

Top Quarter - 25%            No Minimum            No Minimum
2nd Quartile - 26 - 50%            *900/**980            19

4th Quartile - 76 - 100%            *980/**1060            21
*SAT Total if tested prior to March 1, 2016  ** SAT Total if tested after March 1, 2016

 

Eagle Access Program

2nd Quartile - 26 - 50%            *820/**900            17
3rd Quartile - 51 - 75%            *860/**940            18
4th Quartile - 76 - 100%            *900/**980            19

Freshman students will also be required to submit:

  • Proof they have had the Bacterial Meningitis immunization within the last five years
  • Official college transcripts received from dual credit or concurrent enrollment courses
  • Official high school transcript with graduation date
  • Official ACT/SAT scores
  • Proof they satisfied the Texas Success Initiative
