Texas A&M University - Texarkana is committed to the elimination of alcohol abuse and illicit drug use.  The use of such substances disrupts the University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research and service.  We all must help prevent alcohol abuse and illicit drug use from negatively affecting the learning environment.  The university expects its students and employees to cooperate in maintaining an environment free from the effects of alcohol and other drugs and to comply with laws and regulations related to the consumption, possession, sale and distribution of alcohol and other drugs.
