Fines are charged on Overdue items
All book fines with the exception of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) book fines are 25 cents per book for each day after the due date. This includes Reserve and Curriculum fines. Interlibrary Loan books are 50 cents per book per day. All fines must be paid at the 3rd floor Service Desk. Records of students who owe library fines are on file with the business offices. When library fines are incurred, students’ records are tagged, and they will not be able to register for classes until the fines have been cleared. Anyone who has lost a book must pay the price of the book plus the fine. If the patron finds the book and returns it to the library in good condition within a reasonable amount of time, the cost of the book will be refunded through the business office. A receipt must be presented to obtain a refund.
