Scanner
Knowledge Imaging Center (KIC) is an indispensable study and research tool that will enhance reports and papers with crystal clear color and black & white pictures, graphs, and excerpts from books, magazines and journals. This system allows documents to be emailed as well as saved as media files. Not only that, items can be saved to your smart devices as well! One can also print from the KIC.
The Library Computer Lab has two flatbed scanners available to students. With these machines, you can scan documents and save them in electronic format. Please note that restrictions do apply when scanning copyrighted materials and the John F. Moss Library asks that all patrons using a scanner adhere to copyright laws. If you are unsure about scanning an item or how to use the scanner, contact an on-duty Lab Tech or one of the library staff located at the Service Desk.
If you are using the computer connected to a scanner but not the scanner itself, please be courteous and allow other students access to the scanner.
