MSA Program

The Texas A&M University – Texarkana MSA program is offered entirely online and designed to prepare students for a professional career in a wide-variety of accounting related areas in the public, private, and governmental sectors.  Industry accounting experts from our corporate partners helped guide the building of the program to ensure it met and continues to meet the needs of global businesses and governmental agencies.
 
The MSA program focuses on accounting and managerial skills which drive dynamic leadership in the corporate environment while readying students to sit for the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or Certified Management Accounting (CMA) exam if they choose. A combination of high impact experiences and interactive collaborations enhance the learning dynamic to provide an effective and engaging environment for critical thinking and analysis.

 Additional Application Requirements: Please note that applicants for the MSA program must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a bachelor's degree in any area with the following accounting courses:

• ACCT 324 Individual Tax 
• ACCT 429 Accounting Systems
• ACCT 427 Auditing
• ACCT 422 Advanced
