1995 graduate Lori Owens works as an accountant for her family’s business, Whatley Sedgass Enterprises. While at A&M-Texarkana Lori enjoyed the smaller class sizes, saying, “I liked that my professors knew who I was. I could always get extra help on assignments if I needed it. She believes her degree from A&M-Texarkana has been an important asset as she’s gone through her career. “My degree has allowed me to do what I really enjoy, and it has really helped me to advance my career,” Owens added. Lori thinks TAMUT is a great place to learn because of the smaller class sizes, affordability and abundance of activities to be involved with.
