Public Information/Open Records Requests
Texas A&M University-Texarkana is dedicated to the principles of transparency in government and compliance with the Texas Public Information Act (Texas Government Code 552), formerly known as the Open Records Act. Under the Texas Public Information Act each person is entitled to complete information about the affairs of government and the official acts of public officials and employees, unless expressly provided otherwise by law. Requests for public information may be made one of four ways:
