Why Live on Campus?

It's Cheaper - You will not be able to find an all-inclusive space in Texarkana for the price that we offer. Our rooms are fully furnished, all utilities are included, and we provide Internet service. Many rooms have microwaves and mini-fridges; four bedroom units have full size fridges and freezer space.

Convenience - You are minutes away from your classes, the library, the Patterson Student Center (the Rec), and lots of other places and activities that are right on campus. No wasting money on gas, maintenance, or time driving to and from campus.

Success - Research shows that students who live on campus excel more academically and graduate faster than those who live off campus.

Programs - Programs offered within Bringle Lake Village, and across campus, are at your fingertips. The Bringle Lake Village staff creates programs that focus on academic success, student development, social growth, and more. Attend a program today!

Safety - Resident Assistants and professional staff members are on-call every night of the year. The Texas A&M University - Texarkana Police Department perform community rounds in the building every hour to hour and a half while Desk Attendants operate the front desk 24 hours a day. We promote safety, and realize that safety is a basic need for students.

Get Involved - Student organizations and leadership opportunities are at your fingertips. Organizations such as the Residence Hall Association, Campus Activities Board, and Student Government welcome your participation. There are many more organizations that can be found on EagleSync. Also, feel free to stop by Student Life to discuss forming your own student organization.

Make Friends - Your classmates are down the hall, on the floor, or around the corner. Organize a study group, watch TV together, participate in intramural sports, or host a video game tournament.

No Monthly Bill - Students pay for on-campus housing on a semester basis. There is no need to save up for a monthly rent, internet access, electricity, furniture, water, or laundry. You do not have to worry about escalating utilities costs during the seasons.

College Experience - Live and learn here! After completing their college career, students reflect upon their residence hall experience fondly. Late night study groups, taking quick trips to What-A-Burger, and positive relationships can be experienced here at Bringle Lake Village.
