    VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION AND CFO

    Serves as chief administrative and financial officer for the university. Directs the university's financial operations including accounting, budgeting, reporting and auditing and maintains reporting and operational rela-tionships with The Texas A&M University System financial offices. Provides leadership for all finance and administration division departments including budget, audit, accounting, purchasing, inventory, auxiliary en-terprises, physical plant, legal, security and Human Resources/EEO, and Payroll. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or other related business field and five years ofprogressively responsible leadership experience in higher education fiscal and administrative operations. Working knowledge of fund accounting, financial data analysis, budgeting and administrative operations iscritical. Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Accounting or Business and/or CPA and experience in leadership of fiscal and administrative operations in a college or university. Experience in Texas higher edu-cation is a plus.

    Directs and coordinates activities and services of the Student Engagement and Success division including admissions, registration, financial aid, outreach and recruitment, student activities, student services, counsel-ing and degree planning, housing, student learning support and athletics. Provides leadership for the development of university wide programs to enhance student engagement, retention and success. Minimum Re-quirements: Master's degree in student personnel services, counseling, or related field and five years of supervisory experience in higher education in one or more of the functions in the division. Must be able to planand initiate student engagement and service programs enhance student learning and success. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in higher education leadership or related field and demonstrated success in leadingsuccessful student engagement and success programs. Experience with Banner student information systems is a plus.

    FOUNDING DEAN, COLLEGE OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATHEMATICS (STEM)
    AND ROSS PEROT PROFESSOR


    Provides effective leadership for the development of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics degree programs with associated research and scholarly productivity for the newly established STEM College.Successful candidate will also hold the Ross Perot Chair as a full tenured professor. Minimum Requirements: An earned Doctorate in a discipline within the STEM College and academic rank of Associate Professoror above and a minimum of five (5) years of university teaching experience with a distinguished record of research and scholarly productivity. Minimum of three (3) years of academic administrative experience withdocumented success in expanding program enrollments and enhancing research and scholarly productivity. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in small-to-midsize regional university; experience in ABET accredi-tation standards and processes; successful experience with new program development; experience in use and development of instructional technology. Documented successful experience in securing external fundingto support the educational, research and public service missions of the university; record of successful community involvement.

    Provides leadership in planning, implementing, coordinating, operating and securing the use of information resources and other technologies to support the academic and administrative missions and goals of the uni-versity. Experience in the use of distance educationtechnologies and the management of student information systems. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in educational technology or related field and documented success in utilization of technology to en-hance student learning and administrative operations in higher education. The Dean will assist faculty in developingresearch plans and preparing proposals to external funding sources.     Director of University Initiatives

    Provides leadership and management in successful completion of on-going and special academic affairs projects as assigned by the Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs and/or the President. Serves as a liaison between the faculty and university administration to promote improved partnerships, timely implementation of guidelines, and dissemination of information concerning changes in system and university policies, rules and regulations. Collaborates with the Department of Technology and Distance Education and provides leadership to faculty for expanding the use of technology to enhance student learning and/or improve delivery of online course materials. Collaborates with the Department of Institutional Effectiveness to assist faculty with the Academic Assessment process. May teach an undergraduate or graduate course per semester, as assigned by the Provost and College Dean. This is a professional staff position that has faculty status and sits on the Deans’ Council.
