Other Libraries
The JFM Library augments its local collection through arrangements and written agreements with a number of institutions and organizations. We have a reciprocal borrowing agreement with Texarkana College and TexShare Libraries participating with Interlibrary Loans and the Card program. We are a member of the Texas A&M Universities Libraries Group (all of which are TexShare members). There is formal usage agreement with Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant. The library is a full member of Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) through its regional affiliate, Amigos Library Services. OCLC offers WorldCat, a worldwide union catalog maintained collectively by more than 9,000 member institutions in 9 countries. OCLC WorldShare Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a networked borrowing and lending system designed to simplify and speed up resource sharing among the member libraries. The city of Texarkana has a public library residents can use.
