Kinesiology
Dr. Chen is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Texarkana where he serves as Kinesiology Program Coordinator. He teaches undergraduate courses in pre-Physical therapy track as well as graduate courses related to Motor Neuroscience and Rehabilitation. His research and publications focus on procedural memory with a particular emphasis on the application of non-invasive brain techniques to improve procedural memory which can be used in the physical therapy and rehabilitating field.
Dr. Chen teaches undergraduate courses in Motor Development, Biomechanics, Foundations of Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, and Exercise Testing & Prescription as well as graduate courses related to Motor Learning and Development.
Dr. Chen’s scholarship focuses on procedural memory with a particular emphasis on the application of non-invasive brain techniques into improve procedural memory which can be used in the physical therapy and rehabilitating field. His recent work is listed as below.
