Biography

Virginia (Ginny) Katherine Henderson, PT, DPT, ScD, FAAOMPT is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Texas A&M University–Texarkana and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she specializes in pediatric and orthopedic manual therapy and currently practices at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Henderson holds advanced degrees in physical therapy, including a transitional DPT from Texas Woman’s University and is completing her Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences at Texas Tech University. Her research focuses on pediatric pain management, clinical decision-making tools, and interprofessional training in manual therapy. She is an active contributor to national conferences, peer-reviewed publications, and professional service, including the APTA Pediatric Section Research Committee.
