Welcome to the Honors College at A&M-Texarkana

Texas A&M University-Texarkana's Honors College offers motivated students a unique opportunity to shape their college experience by crafting their own curricular and co-curricular experiences, developing leadership skills on and off campus, and collaborating closely with faculty mentors on student-led research projects. The college aims to create a supportive learning community for all eligible and interested students, whether they are first-time-in-college, transfers, or even fully online, by providing enriched educational experiences beyond standard course requirements. Honors students participate in interdisciplinary activities like colloquia and seminars, engage in undergraduate research and creative projects, contribute to service learning initiatives, pursue leadership roles, and enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities.
