A&M-Texarkana and Bowie County Master Gardeners to Host Program on Beekeeping

TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present a program titled “The Buzz About Bees” on Monday, November 13th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This free class is open to the public and will be held in Room 326 of the University Center building on the A&M-Texarkana Campus.

The program will be presented by Robbie Robinson, a member of the Texarkana Beekeepers Association. The presentation will include an overview of what is needed to start beekeeping and the processes involved in keeping them. The discussion will also include information about how habitat loss, pollution, and climate change are negatively impacting the bee population.
