Texarkana A&M University Texarkana Police Department Welcomes Officer Estell
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University Texarkana Police Department is proud to welcome Officer Collins Estell to the team. A U.S. Army veteran and former officer with the Corpus Christi Police Department, Estell brings more than two decades of service and leadership experience to the university.
Throughout his career, Estell has earned a reputation for professionalism, discipline, and dedication to community safety. His 27 years in the U.S. Army shaped his leadership approach and deepened his commitment to protecting others—a mindset he continues to carry into law enforcement.
“We’re proud to welcome Officer Estell to the A&M-Texarkana Police Department,” said Pete Mann, Chief of Police for Texas A&M University Texarkana. “As our university continues to expand, it’s essential that our police force grows alongside it. Officer Estell’s training, professionalism, and dedication to service make him a great fit for our department and campus community.”
In his new role, Estell will assist with patrol operations, student outreach, and campus safety initiatives aimed at strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the university community.
“I’m excited to join the A&M-Texarkana Police Department and serve this campus community,” said Officer Estell. “My goal is to contribute to a secure and supportive environment where students and staff feel safe and connected.”
