A&M-Texarkana to Hold Groundbreaking Celebration For New RRCU Athletic Complex
TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new RRCU Athletic Complex on Thursday, February 20th on the A&M-Texarkana campus. The event will be held in the west parking lot adjacent to the Bringle Lake Village residence hall. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the public is welcome to attend.
The event will feature a number of guest speakers including University President Dr. Ross Alexander, Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp, RRCU President Brad Bailey, RRCU Board of Directors Chairman Fred Milton, and A&M-Texarkana Director of Athletics Ryan Wall.
The new complex will be constructed on university land between the main campus and University Avenue. The complex will feature baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, a sports performance center, ticket booth, a food court, and an event center.
