A&M-Texarkana Athletes SOAR in 2024-25 RRAC Scholar-Athlete Awards
TEXARKANA, Texas –Texas A&M University-Texarkana proudly celebrates 219 student athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year, earning them recognition as Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Scholar-Athletes.
The RRAC announced its 2024-25 RRAC Scholar-Athlete honorees this week, recognizing member institutions and student-athletes for their exceptional academic performance. Each RRAC school submitted the cumulative grade-point averages of student-athletes competing in RRAC-sanctioned sports, with those achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher honored as Scholar-Athletes.
“We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes for their competitive spirit and dedication to academic excellence,” said Dr. Ross Alexander, President of Texas A&M University-Texarkana. “Balancing the demands of collegiate athletics and academics is no small feat, and having 219 Eagles recognized as RRAC Scholar-Athletes speaks volumes about their resilience, discipline, and drive to succeed both on the field and in the classroom.”
Across the conference, a record-breaking 1,501 student-athletes received this prestigious recognition for the 2024-25 academic year.
