EagleCARES

EagleCARES, Eagle Collective Advocacy and Resources for Empowering Students, exists to cultivate a campus community characterized by empathy, understanding, and proactive support. With a commitment to early identification, support, and prevention, we aim to address concerns and promote a caring environment among students, faculty, and staff. Through collaboration, compassion, and evidence-based practices, we strive to promote positive outcomes, empower individuals to seek assistance, and enhance our university community's overall health and resilience.

Common Issues Addressed by Student Advocacy

  • Changes in behavior and well-being concerns (ie. Family crisis)
  • Student hospitalization for a physical or psychological condition
  • Emergency Financial hardship
  • Difficulty navigating campus
  • Changes in behavior and well-being concerns

Types of Assistance Offered

  • Individual meetings to assess concerns of students
  • Guidance to campus and/or community resources and referrals
  • Assist with setup for consultations with faculty, staff and/or the community on a variety of issues
  • Assist students who need assistance but are unsure which office to contact

EagleCARES Reports

Submit a CARE Report to schedule a meeting with a Case Manager

EagleCARES concerns can be made through self-referrals, peer referrals, and/or staff/faculty referrals.

How to make a report:

  • Visit: UC 125, the Student Life Suite, to schedule an appointment
  • Online: Click the EagleCARES Student of Concern tab
