About Faculty Research Enhancement and Professional Development (FRED Committee)

Instituted in 2012, FRED Committee is a sub-committee of the Faculty Senate charged to receive, review and recommend proposals each month to the Faculty Senate that merit funding or other support. Individuals and groups may submit proposals at any time during the year, but priority may be given to proposals that are received well in advance to be included in the budgeting process. Proposals will not be accepted after budget allowances are met. In addition, priority will also be given to faculty research proposals. Proposals not initially funded, may be resubmitted. Any questions may be directed to the FRED Chair.
