Message from the Dean

Welcome! The Honors College at Texas A&M University-Texarkana is open to all potential students who meet our admission requirement. Joining the Honors College here at A&M-Texarkana demonstrates a commitment to excellence and to getting the most out of your educational time with us. Our students build an Honors experience that is both personalized to their interests and guided by the principles of what makes Honors students special: a desire to excel academically, an interest in service, and the drive to become the best version of themselves.

Graduating from the Honors College means that you are among an elite group of students who not only achieved academic excellence, but also engaged with their campus and community. Our graduates have gone on to excellence both in their careers and future academic goals, regardless of their majors. As alums, they have the opportunity to continue to work with existing Honors students and provide guidance and support. We are all members of the Eagle Family!
